"This is my Zenith CH 701, a first time project of this kind, which took me 2 years to finish. It uses a Rotax 912 UL engine and flies beautifully. This plane was easy to transition from my Kolb Firestar ultralight. Hats off to Chris Heintz!"

schwaller-1.jpg (58393 bytes) "My plans-built STOL CH 701 is finished after 1,617 hours of enjoyable work. Engine is a 1915 VW with a Valley Engineering reduction drive turning a 72 in. 3 blade ground-adjustable Ivo prop. Static thrust is 362 Ibs. at 3700 rpm. Thanks to Zenith Aircraft, they were very helpful all through this project. I am 74 years old and hope to fly this bird for a few more years."

"The Zenith literature package is easily the most complete package I have received from any light aviation company, and I’ve seen many other good ones among the hundreds I have studied. Lots and lots of information is presented with some lovely graphics. The literature alone is impressive, but the volume of information will keep you reading for hours. You can get a good idea of what you're buying without ever leaving your chair."

EAA Experimenter magazine

Note: Many of these images show customer-built aircraft, some of which have been modified without the designer's specific approval. Modifications will affect the specifications and performance of the aircraft.
