Michael Hoffman's STOL CH 701, powered by the 100-hp Rotax 912S
(Davenport, Florida)
Five years ago
I retired and had always wanted to build my own airplane. August of
this year I finally completed my project and have started flying off
my test time. Although I have only put 3 hours on it (I got called
out of retirement for a brief time) I am having the
most fun I have ever had in a long long time.
Thank you and everyone at Zenith for me for the outstand support you
have provided to me. The
701 is
a great airplane and easy to build.
PS. I guess I’ll have to start thinking about a 750 next.

"With the new CH-750, Zenith Aircraft seems poised to attain
dominance in the light STOL and bush plane markets. These planes
easily compete with established and almost folkloric names like the
Piper Super Cub and for some good reasons: The Zeniths are very
reasonably priced and their performance operating in short fields
surpass the numbers offered by their competitors."

April 2009,
EAA Sport Aviation magazine:
"Sized between the original CH 701 and the four-place CH 801, the
CH
750 offers a wider cockpit, larger payload, more robust landing
gear, and greater visibility. Unusual in the industry, the CH
750 is offered in four different forms:
factory-built S-LSA, or as a
quick-build kit, standard kit, or scratch-built from plans by Zenith
Aircraft."
