"Better Visibility and More Cabin Width"
BUBBLE DOOR OPTION KIT for the STOL CH 701
The formed acrylic
bubble doors maximize both the cabin width and visibility. The formed door is
hinged on the top and has a 3
1/4" (82 mm.) dome for additional space.
The full bubble
door provides outstanding side and downward visibility. The door is fitted with
the standard locking door latch (at bottom front of each door).
The new domed bubble doors comes with a composite door frame (which
replaces the aluminum tube frame of the previous bubble door), ready
to install directly to the cabin frame.
The doors are
hinged on the top with a "piano hinge" and can be easily
removed for summer operation without the doors.
The "Bubble
Doors" are available as an Option Kit Upgrade for $585.00
when ordered with the airframe kit (the cost is higher when
purchased separately). The doors hardware
(frame, latch, hinge, etc.) is included with the fuselage
kit. Doors hardware can also be purchased separately.
Zenith Aircraft Company has
completed testing new bubble doors for the STOL CH 701.
