A new Dual Control Sticks Option is now available for builders wanting to equip their ZODIAC kitplane with dual sticks. The dual control columns are made up of one-inch 4130 round steel seamless welded tube assemblies that are connected to the aileron control torque tube by threaded steel rods.
The standard ZODIAC XL is equipped with a single center-mounted control column (Y-stick) that can easily be accessed from either side. The trademark Heintz Y-stick has been popular for more than 20 years now in many Heintz designs, but some pilots have indicated a preference for more conventional dual control sticks.
