Zenith Aircraft Company Named One of Kansas/Western Missouri's Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitte & Touche "FAST 50" Program

Kansas City, MO, September 3, 1999 --  Zenith Aircraft Company of Mexico, Missouri, has been named to Deloitte and Touche's prestigious "Fast 50" Program for the Kansas/Western Missouri region, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the area.  Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in revenues from 1994 - 1998 (five-year period).

Zenith Aircraft Company's president, Sebastien Heintz, credits new products, continued customer satisfaction and a large export market with the company's growth over the past five years.  He said, "While we're usually not considered a [high] technology company, we can certainly credit high tech as a major contributor to our growth:  The market for our kit aircraft is fragmented around the world; the Internet allows us to communicate with potential and existing customers in ways that were not possible just a few years ago, allowing us to increase our market base while at the same time increasing customer service and support."
