For the Second Year in a Row, Zenith Aircraft Company Named One of Kansas/Western Missouri's Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitte & Touche "FAST 50" Program |
Kansas City, MO, October, 2000 -- For the second consecutive year, Zenith Aircraft Company of Mexico, Missouri, has been named to Deloitte and Touche's prestigious "Fast 50" Program for the Kansas/Western Missouri region, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the bi-state area. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in revenues over the past five years.
Zenith Aircraft Company's president, Sebastien Heintz, credits the strong economy, new products and technology, continued customer satisfaction and a large export market with the company's continued growth over the past five years. He said, "While we don't really consider ourselves a [high] technology company, we can certainly credit high tech as a major contributor to our growth: The market for our kit aircraft is spread throughout the world and advances in high-tech communications allow us to communicate with customers in ways that were not possible just a few years ago."
"The internet and e-mail has allows us to reach otherwise isolated markets around the world," said Heintz. "Without high tech, it would be nearly impossible for us to reach these customers."
