Virtual Tours

This is the best technology we've been able to find to view an aircraft - this is a true virtual tour of the plane and is very outstanding!

To begin with the tours, you'll need the IPIX plug-in for your web browser. The plug-in allows you to view the virtual tour right from your web browser.

1. Download Netscape Navigator or MS Explorer plug-in.

3. Problems viewing the image?

Viewing the Image:

The image may take a few minutes to load - be patient - it's worth the wait. While the image downloads, you should see the IPIX plug-in logo on your screen.
Navigation: Once the image is displayed on your screen, you'll notice that your mouse cursor has changed into a "hand" - click, or better yet, drag, the mouse in any direction and see what happens! Experiment and have fun with navigation!
Zoom: Position the mouse in the center of the image and you'll notice that it changes to a "+" or "-" symbol. Click on the "+" and you'll zoom in or click on the "-" to zoom out.
If you get lost, right click the mouse and select "Reset Viewpoint."
Keyboard: You can also use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate the image, and use the "+" or "-" keys for the zoom function.

You can save the file locally to your hard drive and navigate it offline from your browser.

About the images:
These photos were taken at the EAA Oshkosh Fly-In convention in August 1997 by Communiqué.
ZODIAC:  This tour offers an outstanding view of the ZODIAC right from the pilot's seat. Notice how great the 360-degree visibility is. A dramatic sky background has been added for effect.
GEMINI: The full 360-degree wrap-around photo was taken in the GEMINI CH 620 cockpit, and offers an outstanding view of the Gemini twin-engine kit aircraft (both inside and out), as well as the full Zenith Aircraft Company display at Oshkosh - you'll see a STOL CH 701, two ZODIAC CH 601s and a ZENITH CH 2000.
ZENITH CH 2000:  This tour offers an outstanding view of Zenair Ltd.'s ZENITH CH 2000 from the pilot's seat, with a great view of the panel. Zoom in the panel to see the avionics up close. A sky background has been added for effect.

Problems viewing the image?:
If you just get text when trying to view the image, try to "refresh" or "reload" the page. If working correctly, you'll see the IPIX plug-in logo on your screen as the image downloads.
In some cases, you may need to reboot your computer for the plug-in to work.
Another hint: press <shift><reload> (click on the browser reload or refresh button while holding down shift kry).
