Roy Phillips of Southern
Australia:
"I have just
completed my Zodiac CH 601 HD after five years building from scratch
(plans-only). The first test flight was totally uneventful. The
aircraft has absolutely no vices and is a dream to land. It is a
tail dragger with a Subaru EA81 engine and a 3 blade Powerfin 70"
propeller. It is an absolutely lovely aircraft."

Michael Heintz of
Quality Sport Planes
(of northern California) flew the plane to Arizona (almost nine
hours each way - with headwinds both ways...) |
 |
Doug and Lori Dugger also took home a Copperstate award: "Longest
distance flown in a Light Sport
Aircraft", proving the Zodiac's excellent cross-country flying
capability. |

And the next award goes to...

Lori and Glen West flew their Zodiac XL from
Hurricane, Utah to attend the annual
EAA Copperstate
fly-in (Casa Grande, Arizona),
flying over the Grand Canyon:
"The
Zodiac flew great at gross weight - it had to carry
the two of us and camping gear plus fuel to do it.
We had so much fun - smooth ride the whole way and we especially
enjoyed the Zenith BBQ on Friday night.
We had a great time.
The experience – priceless."
